Batman’s Super-suit Explained: DC’s The Flash To Arrive Earlier Than Expected
No official release date has been announced for DC’s Flash film starring Ezra Miller in the title role. The current rumoured date is March 23, 2018, one year on from Justice League: Part One.
However, The Hollywood Reporter have now released a report that a ‘mystery movie’ by DC has been shifted to March 26, the week before the original rumoured date.
The action-packed final Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer has been released now which you can watch below which set the internet ablaze in excitement. In the trailer, you can see Batman block a punch from the Man of Steel without even flinching, much to Superman’s surprise.
Frank Miller’s comic book involves Kryptonite as part of Batman’s suit inside of his gauntlets so that when he battles with the Man of Steel his punches have more of an effect, something that Entertanment Weekly have confirmed will be used in Batman v Superman.
“Batman outfits himself with a reinforced mech-suit equipped with strength-augmenting armor and, yes, kryptonite.”
The suit is actually heavily based upon Miller’s work as expected.
You’ll also see that Batman has glowing white eyes which aren’t just to look cool. The cowl protects Superman from using his see-through vision as well as providing various technologic aids for his sight, kind of like the Iron Man suit and what we saw in The Dark Knight. Night vision, heat sensors and x-ray vision could all be included in the helmet.
The rest of the suit will also probably act as his utility belt; containing various weaponry and gadgets to further his abilities. It also has a cape for gliding, protection (it’s most likely bullet and fire proof) and slowing down his descent when falling.
You can catch Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in cinemas March 25 starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Jason Momoa, Amy Adams, Ray Fisher, and Ezra Miller.
